It's a new year of 12 of 12 pictures. And it's probably going to be Chad's last year of hosting the challenge. It was his ideas and you can check his blog for the master list of 12 of 12. Thank you Chad, for having had this brilliant idea!
This is going to be one of the not so exciting 12 of 12, which - I admit - I've had quite a few of in the 3-something years that I've participated in this challenge. I would have liked to go out since there is a lot of snow, which would have made for some beautiful winter pictures. But I am on sick leave from work due to a sinus infection and mild laryngitis, so I decided not to brave the cold and rather stay inside where it's warm and snuggly. And there was some paperwork to work on. Diego helped me as much as he could. So, buckle up and brace yourselves for
A Day in the Home Office with Christin and Diego.
really doesn't like to be disturbed, much less photographed while doing it, cf. his very stern face.

A morningly look out the balcony reveals: It's still white outside and my former Christmas tree is still very much snowed in.

Before Diego get a grip on all this paperwork, we decided to spend some time playing. Thought I'd include some video evidence for all those who are interested.
Post-playtime still life.
Lunchbreak - bagel with delicious toppings and one of the oranges for dessert. When you're sick you don't have much inclination let alone energy to be creative in the kitchen...

Took out the trash and saw that there's still not been any development in the driveway. In this house, we do have a service that is supposed to clear it from all the snow. But where is everybody? I had to park my car outside - it's the one of which you can see a bit of the front - since I wasn't able to drive on my regular and paid for parking space last night because of all the snow. *hammer*

Back to some more paperwork. I'm organizing a choir trip to England this April and we're going to sing in St. Paul's Cathedral in London. Just need to make sure we're still booked and everything's going in the right direction.

Diego is ready to join back in on the paperworking. But it seems he is too tired to concentrate and rather sleeps some more on some folders.

Apparently, this year we're back to bonus pictures for our 12 of 12s. I didn't know that before seeing Helen's 12 of 12, so I didn't really plan anything fancy. But I had one more photo and thought I'd include it. So, let's have Chuck say the final words of today:

"Mmh..."
