12 of 12 (4) - JULY 2009

Welcome to my July 12 of 12! After having had to skip June - I started taking pictures but didn't get to 12 and then never found the time to post the ones I had - I'm very glad to be back. Already missed two months this year... This is not a very interesting 12 of 12 but I still like it. There seems to be a dominant theme and a pretty obvious one at that. :D

I'll have to friends over for a little balcony BBQ in the evening so some apartment cleaning is in order. This is the finished now-sparkly bathroom. :D

Breaking in my new vacuum cleaner. It's an AEG "Vampyrette". :lol:

Today's shot of the city. I hate finding out there's dust or dirt or something else in the camera or on the lens when looking at pictures. So it seems there's some more cleaning in order for today. *grumble*

Friends were a little late, so seized the time to upload a few pictures for the 365 challenge. I'm terribly behind on taking pictures but even more behind on posting them. So I've started writing down which pictures I already took for which theme. Being organized like this saves some time to post them once I have a spare minute...

One of my friends played around with my camera and took this lovely shot. I really liked it and decided to post it here. This is bending the rules of 12 of 12 a little, but I've been known to do that. ;) And since I have two pictures for number 12, I'm still very much following the rules of taking 12 pictures (myself) to document the day. Heh.

12) 21:50 and 22:05

Like I said, I always hate finding out there's some dirt or water spots or whatever in the pictures. So I wasn't very amused to find some of that in picture number 7) while downloading the first batch of pictures from my camera. So - in keeping with the theme du jour - I did some cleaning. And it seems to have worked - the dirt is still there in the first shot (the themed pictures list up close) and seems to be gone in the second. *phew*
